So, this be my $0.02 on the whole CM Punk/Chris Brown deal.

I’m glad someone in the public eye is finally saying what needs to be said. When Rihanna’s beating first came to light, there was a lot of side-stepping and diplomacy from various personalities. Some people even sounded close to defending him.

Punk is being accused of throwing Brown’s name out there as a means of gaining attention, but honestly, I have to applaud him for having the stones to actually stand up and fucking say something, because barely anyone else in the spotlight has.

Brown hasn’t made amends for his actions, nor has he shown any sign of genuine remorse for it, instead acting like a petulant child since winning a Grammy. He could have humbly accepted the honour and thanked people for a second chance, but only boasted of his ‘ultimate fuck off.’

My only hope is that WWE brass don’t get $$$ in their eyes, and milk this ‘feud’ by trying to turn it into a legitimate TV storyline. Such a thing would only make light of what is really a serious issue.
